A Plus Fitness Malvern is a boutique gym for mums, offering group strength- based classes for all ages.
We welcome all sizes, beginners and those who have never strength trained before.
We are female-focused and offer majority female-only classes and also some mixed classes. The 2 males who attend are partners/husbands of current members.
Our focus is mums and peri/menopausal ladies who have gained weight over the years and are struggling to manage their weight and lacking energy.

A PLUS FITNESS MALVERN
Exercise is an important part of the health equation.
But it’s actually a small part of losing weight (sorry to break this news). The good news is that you are in the right place to learn what to do!
We don’t ‘just do fitness classes’ as this won’t get you the results you want on its own. We teach the foundations that you need to change your life for good. We are not a quick fix and do not promote crash diets and fast weight loss. We help people without promoting any supplements or strange foods. We teach fat loss for long term results. It is not something you can master in 8 or 12 weeks. It’s a process of learning for YOU and to be honest, the older you are and the longer you have had the habits you have right now, the longer it will take to unravel your blocks and ‘unlearn’ your habits. BUT you can ABSOLUTELY do it. It is never too late! This gym was started because the owner, Ali, was frustrated with all the quick fixes and poor advice being thrown around on social media. Â
You will receive help with nutrition, especially knowledge about the importance of protein & fibre. Other foundation areas that are taught include sleep, stress management, daily activity, mobility, eating out and how to make the gym classes work best for you. We run educational programs during the year where these pillars are taught and you can learn and ask questions.
A Plus Fitness Malvern is now in its 8th year of operation! We have members who have been with us this entire time. It’s a way of life, not a 12 week challenge.Â
There are 2 ways of thinking to address now:
- Exercise is not an option in my life, it is a part of my life every day. We should be moving our body every day in some way.Â
- Joining the gym is an investment, not a cost. You are investing in your health and making it a priority.
